CERTIFICATION FOCUSED STUDY PROGRAM: Join us for a very detailed, focused review of the resources you will need to study for the NAMSS certification tests for either the certified credentialing specialist or for medical services management. We will review the accreditation and regulatory credentialing standards for TJC, NCQA, DNV-GL, HFAP, URAC, CMS, AAAHC. Additional resources will include information regarding board certification/MOC-OCC, healthcare acronyms, medical terminology, EMTALA, NPDB, and other information as defined by the NAMSS Candidate Handbook. For those studying for the certification exam on Medical Services Management, we will also provide a review of information regarding Systems Operation Management and Department Operations Management (i.e. budget, staffing, etc.)

Participants will be provided with valuable study resources that will help them to be successful in achieving their NAMSS certification(s). For those already certified or experienced, this program will provide a comprehensive refresher course for key accreditation/regulatory information as well as discussion for best practice processes in the industry.

Join us and be prepared to participate in a detailed overview of the study resources defined in the NAMSS Candidate Handbook.

This program will provide an opportunity for detailed review of each of the components in the certification exams and provide the opportunity to communicate directly with the instructor.

As follow-up, you will be provided with an organized outline on how and what to study for your certification exams, as well as sample tests to test your knowledge of what you have learned.

Janet Wilson, BS, CPMSM®, CPCS®, FMSP, your instructor for this study series, has 36 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She has extensive knowledge and experience in hospital, managed care, CVO, and ambulatory care regulatory and accreditation requirements.
